1. My mattress looks clean. Why do I need to cleanse and sanitise it?
Our mattress is always nicely fitted with bed linen and duvet, so it looks nice and cosy. But most of us do not realise that a regularly used mattress contains highest amount of dead human skin flakes, dried body fluids, bacteria and dust which becomes breeding ground for microscopic allergy causing elements such as dust mites, pollens, mite droppings, mould, bacteria and spores that potentially harms the health of you and your loved ones.
2. Why can’t I clean the mattress myself?
Currently most vacuum cleaners on the market are multi-purpose vacuum system and are not specifically suitable for use on mattress. Other than equipment, the “ordinary cleaning” method is just not effective. To solve the home mattress problem, One Hygienic uses Professional Grade Mattress Sanitizing Hygiene System that has been improved and trusted by residential and commercial clients for over 20 years. Originated in Europe, the system is the World’s No. 1 Dry Sanitizing System for mattress and specifically designed to effectively sanitize and cleanse mattress without the use of chemical or steam. At One Hygienic, our Service Teams are specially trained and coached to ensure that your mattress is thoroughly cleansed and sanitized.
3. Can One Hygienic cure my allergy after cleaning my mattress?
Mattress Cleaning is an allergy management practice, a form of allergy prevention exercise rather than treatment. One Hygienic encourages our customers to seek professional medical help for allergy cure.
4. Is One Hygienic's cleaning method safe for my baby?
One Hygienic use 100% dry and chemical free cleaning technology for our mattress cleaning service. It is definitely safe for you, your baby and your pets.
5. Does One Hygienic help to eliminate bed bugs?
No. Bed bugs are considered pest and require pesticide treatment by pest control services. While One Hygienic may be able to remove handful of bed bugs that are seen on the mattress, we are NOT able to remove those that are hidden in the bed frame, ward robe, and other parts of the house which is required to fully eradicate the bed bugs in your home.
6. My mattress has blood and urine stains. Can One Hygienic remove them?
Removing blood and urine stains on mattress require harsh chemical and liquid as these stains are difficult to remove. One Hygienic does not advocate any introduction of chemical/liquid/steam onto the mattress as mattress manufacturers STRONGLY disapprove using such product to clean mattress as they would cause damage to the furniture. Instead, One Hygienic would advise customer to use a clean damp cloth to absorb as much of the excess fluid as possible and leave the mattress to dry. For blood stain, when the stain is still fresh, customer may use damp cloth and mild detergent and gently blot the stain. For such “accidents”, using our mattress cleaning would help to remove the urine and blood dried residue in the mattress and eliminate the bacteria.
7. Why do I need to clean my fabric and leather upholstery?
Fabric and leather upholstery, like mattress, easily collects enormous amount of human dead skin flakes, dried body fluid, bacteria, dust and micro-organisms within a short period that accumulate and potentially cause serious health problems.
8. Can One Hygienic make my sofas look new again?
One Hygienic does not ensure that customers’ furniture will look brand new again. Our services focus on cleaning, sanitising and refreshing sofa fabric/leather, to eliminate micro-organism like dust mite & bacteria that are found to inhibit in the fabric furniture.
