Bedbugs and dust mites can lead to allergic reaction in some people. According to Dr. Clifford Basset; an allergist in New York; about 10 percent of people are sensitive to house dust mites. They are even more of a problem for people with asthma. The mite excrement may even cause some people to cough and sneeze.
